Cheese press is used to remove whey from the product with pneumatic pressing process

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The frame is made of SS 304 SS square pipe. The Cheese removed from the cheese vat consists of a lot of whey. This
whey has to be removed, before it is processed and packed. The cheese is filled in the SS hoops, which are having
perforationsthroughout the body, for removing the whey. The Hoops are pressed by Pneumatic press so that the whey
is completely drained from the product. The drain whey is collected at the bottom of the tray through a ball valve.

DESIGN AND FEATURES

The SS Hoops are made of SS 304 and there are three partsforming the hoops. Top, Bottom and the intermediate box
which holds the top & bottom of the hoops. The hoops are designed depends upon the customer requirement. The
Pneumaticsis of Festo/SMC make with Aluminum/SS body with SS piston. The Hoops are protected on all sides by SS
flats.
