APPLICATION
Air-blast freezers are the most common type of food freezer. Individual product items are placed in a
recirculation air stream within a room or tunnel. The air is circulated by fans, which are often associated with
the evaporator coils providing cooling
Blast Freezers are used for Blast Chilling, which is a method of cooling food quickly to a low temperature that
is relatively safe from bacterial growth.
Freezing into blocks is an effective economical method of preserving, handling transportation and storing
perishable products
